Welcome to the Aeros, Chris Pynn!

October 8, 2018 - Edson Aeros President and General Manager, Axel Axmann, is pleased to introduce Chris Pynn to the Edson Aeros fans.  

Another one of those feel-good stories is Chris Pynn.

Chris comes to us from Thompson, MB. The Aeros originally saw Pynn at the Spring Camp. The 5’10”, 180lbs forward was a standout at the camp. “We got the call shortly after camp that Chris had opted to play closer to home as he had a tryout with a Junior A club there,” says Axmann. “We were obviously disappointed but completely understand the decision to play closer. When we got the call that things didn’t work out back home and that he wanted to come to the Aeros, we were elated! I think it spoke to the program that we were building here and that Chris felt that he wanted to be a part of it.”

As expected, Pynn has completely impressed during camp and pre-season and its an honour to watch this young man play hockey here.
