Cold Lake...meet Braden Swampy!!

City of Cold Lake, please welcome our newest Aero......Braden Swampy!!

Braden hails from Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Manitoba. This 5'10", 170lbs defenceman has a ton of skill and see's the ice really well. 

Manitoba Scout, Ryan Hrankowski had this to say about Swampy;

"I've watched him play quite a bit the last couple of years , played high school hockey here in Winnipeg and then played in the  MMJHL. He's physical player with that natural strength.

Transition game is so smooth he never seems to panic and never makes a bad pass. He reads the game so well and has that patience with the puck when breaking out. Great shot and good hands. Very good work ethic and good character kid.

I think this kid if he will play will be a very good player for the Aeros just hungry to learn and get better and he just loves the game."
