Aeros finish third in WSHL's Thorne Cup Final 6

It's early Saturday morning, April 13,  12:15AM to be exact and I write this message to you with teary eyes and some sadness.
The Edson Aeros failed to accomplish their "objective". That's the sad part and you can see it in each and every one
of their teary, red eyes.
However, that being sad, this team accomplished an amazing feat this year and quite truthfully, I couldn't be more
proud of these fine young men!
Today, many will go their seperate ways. In most cases, they will all return home to their families. Sweden, Germany, Switzerland,
United States and Canada. In some cases we will not see these amazing individuals again but I know one thing for certain, they
will accomplish great things in this world. Many will go on to University and College, some will enter the pro ranks of
hockey in their own country and elsewhere. But forever in time, they will be Edson Aeros. These individuals made a remarkable
impression on the Town of Edson and although there is sadness tonight, the pride that we feel for them is immeasurable.
They have truly become family! And in our eyes, they have fulfilled their objective and they are indeed Champions. These men
placed 3rd in their inaugural season in the WSHL! How can one not be proud of such an accomplishment!
Sandy and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Coach Bernie Lynch and his team for bringing this excitement
to Edson. To the players, we wish you Godspeed and continued success in whatever and wherever life takes you. We hope
many of you return to us as we take the ice again in the 2019/2020 WSHL season.
Onwards and upwards! Fare thee well!
AA.
P.S. thank you to the wonderful city of Ogden, Utah and the team at the Comfort Suites Inn. You have made time here most enjoyable and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
